Bereavement Ministry
Purpose
This ministry is a confidential, drop-in, open-ended support group for anyone who has suffered a loss. The group is open to any bereaved person who may attend as many or as few sessions as they wish.
Service
Information on the process of grief and referrals to license clinical workers are available upon request.
Peer support is to help each member of the group cope with their loss.
Meetings
The fourth Tuesday of each month which includes July and August. However, if there are schedule changes during the 4th week, the change in date will be posted in the Church bulletin on the Sunday before. Home visits are made for the home bound by the group leader by request.
