Talk On Medicare/Medicaid Planning For Nursing Home Admission And Alternatives To It: Plan Ahead (Sponsored by The Holy Name Society)

10/19/2016 7:00 pm
Wednesday, October 19, 2016, 7:00 p.m., Parish Center, St. Peter’s Room
Speaker:  Gwen Orlowski, Esq., national attorney expert in elder law:  Medicare, Medicaid and Medication Availability
Consistent with the Holy Name Society’s program theme of “mercy” during the Pope’s Jubilee Year, our guest speaker will focus on asset and estate contingency planning for admission to a nursing home.  She will also discuss in-home alternatives to it and available resources at home.  This is something to hear about before it becomes an immediate need.  It is a very complicated issue, and the program is meant to appeal to the elderly and to their spouses, siblings and adult children who might, someday, have to negotiate this maze of regulations.  Our speaker will host a question-and-answer period after her talk and she will provide hand-out resources.
