|Come to pray and worship Jesus in His real presence. Can you give Jesus a few minutes of love and adoration?|
|“In thy presence there is fullness of joy.” (Psalms 16:11)|
|“The Church and the world have a great need of Eucharistic worship. Jesus waits for us in this Sacrament of Love. May our adoration never cease.”
Pope John Paul II
|“A thousand years of enjoying human glory is not worth even an hour spent in sweet communing with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.” St. Padre Pio|
|“The Blessed Eucharist is the Sacrament of Love: It signifies love, It produces love.” St. Thomas Aquinas|
|“The best, the surest and most effective way of establishing everlasting peace on the face of the earth is through the power of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.” Pope John Paul II|
Traditional prayers of adoration
|The following prayers are taken from the Liturgy of the Hours (Divine Office), written by St. Thomas Aquinas at the request of Pope Urban IV when the Pope first instituted the Feast of Corpus Christi in 1264.
Blessed be God.
Blessed be His holy name.
Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man.
Blessed be the name of Jesus.
Blessed be his most Sacred Heart.
Blessed be his most Precious Blood.
Blessed be Jesus in the most holy sacrament of the altar.
Blessed be the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete.
Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most holy.
Blessed be her holy and Immaculate Conception.
Blessed be her glorious Assumption.
Blessed be the name of Mary, virgin and Mother.
Blessed be St. Joseph, her most chaste spouse.
Blessed be God in his angels and in his saints. Amen.
Holy God, We Praise thy Name
Holy God, we praise thy name;
Lord of all, we bow before thee;
All on earth thy scepter claim,
All in heaven above adore thee;
Infinite thy vast domain,
Everlasting is thy reign!
