I am eternally grateful to God for the gift of priesthood. Last May 23rd, I celebrated my fifth anniversary of priestly ordination. These past five years have been a true blessing as I began pastoral ministry and began to learn firsthand the dynamics of parish life. A very important part of this has been the opportunity to journey with you. Each one of you, has formed me become the priest I am today, and for that I am very grateful.
As you may know, Cardinal Tobin appointed me as chaplain of the Seton Hall University Inter-professional Health Sciences Campus (Medical School) in Nutley, effective September 1. While we are still in a battle against Covid-19, I feel humbled in having the opportunity to form the hearts and minds of our future healthcare heroes.
As I depart from St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, please accept my sincere thanks for your friendship and support over the past five years. Be assured of my prayers for you always and I ask that you remember me to the Lord and implore His grace, as this new assignment will undoubtedly have its challenges.
Fondly in Christ,
